Join the new Friends of the RKRK Yahoo! Group now!

23-Jun-2008

A new Friends of the Regional Knowledge Resource Kit (RKRK) Yahoo! Group has been set up after people experienced problems with the previous website. The Friends of the Regional Knowledge Resource Kit (RKRK) is a community of NRM professionals interested in the management of NRM information and knowledge including the development and implementation of Regional Knowledge Strategies. You will find in this group:

  • a discussion forum where you can share your experiences and seek help;
  • examples of completed Regional Knowledge Strategies; and
  • access to the materials from the Regional Knowledge Leaders training.

Anyone who is involved with regional NRM and has an interest in information management or knowledge management is invited to apply to join the new group - please click here for details.

New paper highlights the benefits of narrative in knowledge management

30-May-2008

The Regional Knowledge Strategy process described here in the Regional Knowledge Resource Kit (RKRK) takes an approach that is based on a knowledge of both complexity and narratives, and reflects a holistic approach in working at both systemic and personal levels to help organisations and their people move forward. A new whitepaper from Anecdote, who consulted in the development of the Regional Knowledge Strategy process and the RKRK, highlights the benefits of this approach. The whitepaper can be downloaded here.
