Australian professional associations
- Information management expertise – IIM Australia (Institute of Information Management). IIM Australia has branches in ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC, and WA. See their website at http://www.iim.org.au/
- Records management expertise – Records Management Association of Australasia (RMAA) see their website at http://www.rmaa.org.au/. The Records Management Association of Australasia offers a wide range of activities supporting the profession of records and information management. These activities include courses, conventions, seminars, specialised studies, projects, workshops, field trips, and publications.
- Data management expertise - The Data Management Association (DAMA) is a vendor independent, not for profit professional association of data and information management practitioners. Its primary objective is to "promote the understanding and practice of managing information and data as key business assets". There are active DAMA chapters in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. - Library management expertise - Australian Library and Information Association see their website at http://www.alia.org.au/. The Australian Library and Information Association [ALIA] is the professional organisation for the Australian library and information services sector. It seeks to empower the profession in the development, promotion and delivery of quality library and information services to the nation, through leadership, advocacy and mutual support.
