Mat led the development of the NRM Toolbar, which was another major component of the Land & Water Australia Knowledge for Regional NRM Program, and was also instrumental in driving and assisting other aspects of the Program. The Knowledge for Regional NRM Program won a Platinum Award in the 2008 actKM Forum Knowledge Management Awards
